Bengkung Belly Binding

Bengkung Belly Binding is the art of wrapping the women’s belly and hips postpartum to hasten postpartum recovery. Bengkung belly binding uses a long cotton fabric to wrap the women abdomen from the hips to the rib cage. Women can get the best benefit from belly binding if starts as soon as possible after birth, usually starting at day 5 and throughout the next 40 days. The Bengkung belly binding is rooted in Malaysian culture but have spread out through many countries.

The benefits from belly binding includes:

  • Provides postural support for the torso and organs as they return to pre-pregnancy position

  • Supports and assists abdominal wall healing and diastasis recti recovery

  • Supports the body's natural spine and posture realignment post birth

Mindful Pregnancy is a course designed to empower you. I promise you, the answers to all of your questions already exist inside of you. Let me show you how to tap into your own inner strength and self-power to navigate your pregnancy with wisdom and confidence.

On this journey, we will distinguish between common misguided beliefs and truth. You will learn to confront and accept your fears, adapt to change, squelch self-doubt and feel prepared all while fully trusting your inner wisdom. A mindful pregnancy is the ability to tap into your own inner resources and strength and make decisions from a place of grounded internal coherence.
